How it started

A small idea with a very big spice tin.

The concept began with a simple Brisbane question: how can Indian dining feel relaxed, colourful and fast without losing the depth of the food?

Our answer is a kitchen that respects familiar flavours while presenting them in a social, easy-to-order way for locals, students and families.

“Make the table generous, keep the welcome simple, and let the spices do the talking.”— Kari Social kitchen principle
